Well, here I am with my rescheduled ticket for the second show for the O2 in London, of no use. A long time I go I booked the family vacation in Norway after the PJ Europe tour was over, but there you go. While all you are rocking out in the free World (or however we should label the state of the Union(s) at the moment) I'll likely be out swimming or fishing with all three, now grown up kids, in the ocean surrounding Bergen. I'll think of you.
Hail Hail - The Touring Poles
Tonight's show is in Krakow, Poland. Never been there, heard is should be a beautiful city, but I know the Polish fans are wild and passionate. At the book reception of the Danish version in November 2016, I ran into Katarzyna Bobrowicz, who is certainly a wild and passionate fan. She's pregnant now, so I don't even know if she'll make the show.
London did call ...
And what a voice yesterday. Had the greatest day. Dead early flight from Copenhagen. I made it, slightly shivering when actually sat in the seat, no more comments on that (oouuch). Get out of that door in good time, you big … !
Made it to the Wishlist Foundation party, at around 1.00 pm. A truly spectacular venue, right next to the Thames, directly opposite of the O2. Huge, classic, Britain at its best.
London Calling
Showtime, now for me as well. There's always something special about seeing your favorite band on your own territory. To call London my own backyard, is a slight exaggeration, but nevertheless just a two hour flight from Copenhagen, and a city I've visited +50 times, for interviews, shows, vacation and others.
